Aetas Inc. DBA AliceHome is committed to protecting your privacy. We have instituted this privacy policy to describe our practices regarding the personal information we collect from users of our website located at www.ThanksAlice.com (the “Website”), and the AliceHome mobile application (the “App”) that facilitate the scheduling, performance and management of certain services, as well as our practices that enable us to coordinate communications between residents and building management (hereinafter “Property Managers”), including submission of maintenance requests and amenity space reservations (collectively, the functionality provided by the Website and App referred to as the “Service”). This privacy policy applies to all AliceHome users, Property Managers, and Home Managers as well as the platforms and services, including our App, Website, features and other services (collectively, the “AliceHome Platform”).  Please remember that your use of the AliceHome Platform is also subject to our Terms of Use. This privacy policy describes:

  • information we collect or information that you may provide when you visit our Website;
  • information we collect via email, through our online forms and other electronic messages between you and the Website;
  • information we receive from other sources, including service providers who provide us with personal information about you in order to help us better understand and cater to your preferences, improve the quality of our services to you, prevent or detect fraud, and for other business purposes;
  • our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

This policy DOES NOT apply to employees or independent contractors of any third party service providers that we contract with in order to carry out our services.  It also DOES NOT apply to information that:

  • We collect offline or on any other Company websites or applications, as applicable, including websites you may access through our Website;  
  • You provide to or is collected by any third party;
  • Is collected by us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by AliceHome or any third party, including affiliates and subsidiaries.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it.  If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use our Website. By accessing our Website, you agree to this privacy policy.  This policy may change from time to time.  Your continued use of the Website after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

Children's Privacy

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@ThanksAlice.com so that we will be able to do necessary actions. Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

Personal Data

While using Our Service, AliceHome may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

  • Email address
  • First name and last name
  • Phone number
  • Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City
  • Usage Data

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, AliceHome may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

AliceHome may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.

Information from Third-Party Social Media Services

The Company allows You to create an account and log in to use the Service through the following Third-party Social Media Services:

  • Google
  • Facebook
  • Twitter

If You decide to register through or otherwise grant us access to a Third-Party Social Media Service, AliceHome may collect Personal data that is already associated with Your Third-Party Social Media Service's account, such as Your name, Your email address, Your activities or Your contact list associated with that account.

You may also have the option of sharing additional information with the Company through Your Third-Party Social Media Service's account. If You choose to provide such information and Personal Data, during registration or otherwise, You are giving the Company permission to use, share, and store it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.


INFORMATION COLLECTION, USE AND SHARING

The only personal information about you that we collect is information you voluntarily give us. This information may include:

  • Information you provide when you subscribe to our Services, such as your name, physical address and email address, phone number as well as your credit card or other billing information.
  • Information you provide to respond to a AliceHome survey.
  • Records and copies of your correspondence, including email address, if you contact us.
  • Details of any other transactions you carry out through our Services.

We will only use your personal information

  • for the purpose you provided it, such as to present the Services and its content to you,
  • to notify you about AliceHome events or services, and
  • for the purpose of aggregated statistical analysis regarding how you and others use our Services. For any other use, we will first obtain your explicit consent.

We will not sell your personal information to anyone. We will not disclose your personal information to any third party outside of our organization, other than:

  • To contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of AliceHome’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of a bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by AliceHome about our users is among the assets transferred.
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
  • With your consent.
  • To comply with any court order, law or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
  • To enforce or apply our Subscription Agreement and other agreements.

As you use our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions and usage patterns. The technologies we use for this automatic data collection include cookies. A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your web browser.


For Property Managers: When you set up an account with us as a property manager or employee of a property manager, we collect and store personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, address, Tax I.D., telephone number, email address, payment information, information concerning your leases with tenants in such properties and information concerning the operation of such properties.  We may also ask you personal identifier questions for purposes of verifying your identity.  We may collect transaction and experience information, rent information and other information necessary to any transactions with us, as well as information about our communications with you.  AliceHome may also collect other personally identifiable information from third parties such as consumer and business credit reporting agencies as part of our due diligence process. We collect this information to provide the products and services that you request or that are requested by your residents from our website and/or App and to let you know of additional products and services that you or your residents may be interested in.  

By providing your information to us, you agree to our collection and use of such information to deliver the services as described in our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies

As you navigate through and interact with our Website, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns, including:

  • Details of your visits to our Website, including traffic data, location data, logs and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Website.
  • Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system and browser type.

The information we collect automatically is statistical data and may include personal information or we may maintain it or associate it with personal information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. It helps us to improve our Website and to deliver a better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to:

  • Estimate our audience size and usage patterns.
  • Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our Website according to your individual interests.
  • Speed up your searches.
  • Recognize you when you return to our Website.

  • Web Beacons.

Pages of our Website and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an e-mail and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).

We do not collect personal Information automatically, but we may tie this information to personal information about you that we collect from other sources or you provide to us

  • Log Files.  

As is true of most websites and mobile applications, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. We use analytics providers such as Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect non-identifying information. Google provides some additional privacy options regarding its Analytics cookies at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data, mobile device identifiers, and advertising identifiers. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We do not link this automatically-collected data to personal information.


How We Use Your Information

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
  • To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.

  • To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.
  • For business transfers: We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Us about our Service users is among the assets transferred.
  • For other purposes: We may use Your information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Service, products, services, marketing and your experience.

We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers: We may share Your personal information with Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, to contact You.
  • For business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.
  • With Affiliates: We may share Your information with Our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include Our parent company and any other subsidiaries, joint venture partners or other companies that We control or that are under common control with Us.
  • With business partners: We may share Your information with Our business partners to offer You certain products, services or promotions.
  • With other users: when You share personal information or otherwise interact in the public areas with other users, such information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside. If You interact with other users or register through a Third-Party Social Media Service, Your contacts on the Third-Party Social Media Service may see Your name, profile, pictures and description of Your activity. Similarly, other users will be able to view descriptions of Your activity, communicate with You and view Your profile.
  • With Your consent: We may disclose Your personal information for any other purpose with Your consent.


Aggregate/Anonymous data.

We may aggregate, de-identify, and/or anonymize any information collected through the Site(s) or Services such that such information is no longer linked to your personally identifiable information. We may use and share this aggregated and anonymized information (non-Personal Information) for any purpose, including without limitation, for research and marketing purposes, and may also share such data with our affiliates and third parties, including advertisers, promotional partners and others.


We also may share your information, including your Personal Information, with our affiliates and other third parties, such as companies with whom we have marketing or other relationships, for direct marketing purposes. In addition, we may share the information we have collected about you, including Personal Information, as disclosed at the time you provide your information and as described in this Privacy Policy.


Stripe (E-Commerce Payment Gateway)

Stripe provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our services to you. Stripe stores your data on a secure server behind a firewall. Your data is stored through Stripe’s data storage, databases and the general Stripe application.

When you purchase from AliceHome, Stripe stores your credit card data.  It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).  Aligning with industry standards, your purchase transaction data is stored only as a log and is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.  This log contains only transaction data, and not personal information. AliceHome may collect and use information about your purchases that are made through the App in order to provide you with an improved user experience, and to deliver information about third party services to you. Disclosure of Your Information

To make the AliceHome Platform work, we may need to share your personal information with third parties and service providers.  This section explains when and why we share your information.

We may disclose aggregated information about our users and information that does not identify any individual without restriction. In addition, we may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide:

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates;
  • To contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business;
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of Caravan Studios's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by Caravan Studios about SafeNight users is among the assets transferred;
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it, for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information, or with your consent;
  • To comply with any court order, law or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
  • To enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including the SafeNight EULA.
  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Caravan Studios, our customers or others.

Your Choices Regarding Your Personal Information

If you wish for us to delete your Personal Information, you can send an email privacy@ThanksAlice.com and our team will manually delete the data.

Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information

You can review and change your personal information by logging into the App and visiting your account profile page.

You may also send us an email at privacy@ThanksAlice.com to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

If you delete your User Contributions from the Website, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Website users. Proper access and use of information provided on the Website, including User Contributions, is governed by our Terms of Use.




Your California Privacy Rights

California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our App that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. The information you share in public locations of our website may be viewed by any user of the Website.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Website.
